Terms of use
Last updated 12 October 2026
The short version: be kind, post your own words, and remember Reddle is a free project that comes with no guarantees.
Your account
- You need to be 13 or older to use Reddle.
- Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- Don't pretend to be someone else.
What you post
- Your reviews and other posts stay yours. By posting them, you let Reddle show them on the site.
- Only post things you have the right to share. Don't copy other people's reviews or long passages from books.
- Your profile and reviews are public, so don't post anything you want to keep private.
House rules
Don't post anything that:
- harasses, threatens or bullies anyone
- attacks people because of who they are
- is spam, advertising or misleading
- is sexual content involving minors, or is otherwise illegal
- shares someone else's private information
If you see something that breaks these rules, use the Report button next to it. We may remove posts or accounts that break the rules, with or without warning.
Book information
Book details and covers come from Open Library and sometimes Google Books. They're usually right, but not always.
No guarantees
Reddle is free and provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change or stop the service. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for losses caused by using it.
Leaving
You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes matter, we'll update the date at the top and mention it on the site. Using Reddle after that means you accept the new terms.
